About Sonya
With a winning smile and a warm handshake, Sonya Ruben truly radiates her positive attitude towards life. Born in Nördlingen, the entrepreneur grew up in the security of her large family in Augsburg. At 29, pregnant with her second child, a cancer diagnosis knocked her world off its hinges from one second to the next.
She found support in her family and in "The Secret", the book that shaped her life for more than a decade. From this experience came her debut: a moving account without pathos, an encouragement towards positive thinking without an esoteric wagging finger, a loving thank-you to family, doctors and friends.
